Hvar it’s a beautiful island with lovely architecture it offers great nightlife, very good food and fun adventures. I was travelling with a group of friends so this a bit different from a couples trip so we decided to keep things simple and rented an apartment near the town (about 15min walk). Everything is within walking distance from beach club, bar and restaurants, we didn’t feel the need to hire a car but if you are a couple wanting to explore I would recommend renting scooters and explore a bit on the other side of the Island as there is more to this island than just the town Center, Carpe Diem and Hula Hula, part of me wished I had explored more but with a group of people it’s always a challenge, but don’t get me wrong the town Center offers every thing you need!. Hvar it’s beautiful, fun and the nightlife will leave you wanting more. Carpe Diem Beach Club was our favourite place to spend the day then Hula Hula bar in the evening.

Then if you are up for a good nightclub until the sunrise. Carpe Diem re-open its door at midnight and turn into a proper club with DJs on the decks. Lastly, I would strongly recommend spending a day on the boat there are some beautiful bays and restaurants which you can only access with a boat which is worth the trip! Direct flights from Stansted and Gatwick airport
Just off the coast of Split and you can get direct flights from either Stansted with jet2.com or Gatwick with Easyjet. Arriving in Split you will need a taxi to the port which is about 25min drive from the airport costing about €50 on the Taxi. From Split, you take a Ferry boat to Hvar (approximately 40min journey) which will cost you about €15 one way. Later we’ve discovered that you can hire a taxi boat which will collect you from the airport (15min walking distance) and take you directly to Hvar. If you are travelling in a group of people this will probably be a better option in my opinion. We discovered this on our last day basically, we hired the boat for the whole day and at the end, they took us straight to the airport.
