Hello Everyone!
It’s been over one year since I have had a Ginetta G40 CUP car so time for an review!
The review is for the Ginetta G40 not to be confused with the Ginetta G40R which is the road version that has the Duratec 2L Ford engine). Despite the Covid and lock down I’ve spent enough time with thid car and have done a handful track days to give you mine opnion on this.
In this video I go throught nits and grits of owning a Ginetta G40 car, what I like and what I don’t like it and some of the problems I went through and my opnion on them. It’s a feedback from a private owner that drives this car on the road as well as on the race track doing track days.
You have to remember that Ginetta G40 is a race car not road car it was made for the race track so it will demand your full attention all the time, it sounds like bag of loose nuts, and there is always something that will need fixing.
I like to call it real lego for petrol heads. If you like cars, speed and working on them then this is for you.
Despite finding a few things annoying I love my Ginetta, it puts a big smile on my face every time I take to the race track or even when I drive in London.
